Safeguarding Policy

Aim:
To be aware of any behaviour that may be regarded as a safeguarding issue – this includes:
• Attending training workshops - last attended 7th February 2020
• Reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel as outlined in the training given.
• All travel arrangements are pre-booked . Customers travel only once they have already made
contact with myself - I have a private hire vehicle and bookings are made as a result of
customers accessing the business website or through recommendation. In this way the
customer has already established knowledge of myself as a driver and therefore I will be known
to them when I arrive to commence the journey. Any customer requirements will be discussed
at this time.
• Clear signage within the vehicle is on display so the customer will be aware that I have been
subject through rigorous checks by South Cambridgeshire District Council including an enhanced
DBS check.

Complaints Policy

Aim:
I will strive to provide the highest level of customer standards for the delivery of this service. If for
any reason the standards fall below the customer’s expectations this policy allows the customer a
clear pathway for making a complaint:
In the first instance the customer can contact me either by calling me directly or via an email. I will
do my utmost to investigate the complaint and endeavour to provide a resolution.
I will be open and transparent and display official signage within my vehicle should the customer
wish to contact South Cambridgeshire District Council to discuss the situation if they feel it has not
been resolved and wishes to take the complaint further
